OREGON – Nike has announced it is suspending online sales of its products in Russia because it says it cannot guarantee delivery of goods to customers. The business made the announcement on its Russian website. Nike currently operates more than 100 stores in Russia. It is unclear as to why the business has made the decision to suspend sales, although one obvious possibility is that the no-fly zone has made it difficult to get products into Russia. This has huge implications for fashion brands selling into Russia, with Inditex looking the most exposed at the moment, the Zara-owner having more than 500 stores there.
