STOCKHOLM – Bank & Vogue, parent company of vintage fashion retailer Beyond Retro, has signed a deal with Swedish textile recycler Renewcell to supply it with up to 30,000 tonnes of pre- and post-consumer waste annually for the production of Circulose branded fabric. The deal means & Vogue’s is Renewcell’s largest raw materials feedstock supplier. Renewcell has just moved to a larger facility in Sundsvall, Sweden.
Said Renewcell’s CEO, Patrik Lundström: “With this agreement, we take the next step to industrial scale textile-to-textile recycling. I’m truly impressed with Bank and Vogue’s experience and capacity for innovation, and without them we wouldn’t be where we are, ready to put shovel to the ground for our next recycling plant.”
