    Trade bodies, fashion to discuss purchasing practices

    AMSTERDAM – Global apparel industry trade bodies have commenced talks with fashion representatives on the contentious issue of purchasing practices. The Sustainable Terms of Trade initiative (SSTI), which now consists of 15 textile industry associations from 11 garment production hubs, says it is in discussion with the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) as well as two other bodies representing fashion retailers.
