BRUSSELS – US-based consultants, the Sustainable Apparel Coalition and Boston Consulting Group are seeking to influence European environmental policies relating to textiles and apparel via a new white paper. The pair have teamed up with the Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry (FESI) and Global Fashion Agenda (GFA) to issue a response to EU’s new Green Recovery Plan.

Their proposal follows the European Commission’s recently issued recovery plan which saw the EU put the case for rebuilding of coronavirus-ravaged economies to tackle the even greater threat of the climate emergency.
