ISTANBUL — US denim giant, Levi’s, is facing criticism following a report by an independent labour monitoring group that it failed to adhere to its own labour standards. The US-based Worker Rights Consortium says Levi’s continued to place orders with a supplier in Turkey that dismissed approximately 400 workers last year. The workers were fired after joining a union and striking over pay and working conditions.
