LENZING – Lenzing Group is to phase out production at its fibre plants in Heiligenkreuz, Austria, and Grimsby, UK. The closures are part of a major restructuring of its global manufacturing network.
Production at Heiligenkreuz is scheduled to end by the close of 2026, followed by Grimsby by the end of 2027. Lenzing said it would explore possible divestments or other “value-preserving” options for the facilities, but would implement an orderly wind-down if no viable alternative emerges.
