    Lenzing collaborates on wood-orange lyocell fibre

    LENZING – Austrian fibre maker, Lenzing, has announced a collaboration with Italian company, Orange Fiber, to produce the first lyocell fibre made from a combination of orange and wood pulp sources. Lenzing told Apparel Insider the new cellulosic fibre will comprise a blend of 80 per cent wood and 20 per cent citrus pulp. “The goal is to increase the citrus pulp ratio of the fibre in the future,” the company said.
