DUBLIN-Ireland has unveiled plans for a mandatory extended producer responsibility (EPR) scheme that will prevent fashion companies from selling products in the country unless they join an approved compliance system by April 2028.
A draft delivery plan published for stakeholder consultation proposes the creation of a single, producer-led and not-for-profit Producer Responsibility Organisation (PRO) to administer the scheme.
