BEIJING – New research has highlighted the climate action of apparel brands in their Chinese supply chains. According to the Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs (IPE) findings, supply chain emissions are on average reported to be 5.5 times greater than companies’ direct emissions and indirect emissions from energy consumption combined. 440 Chinese and international brands were ranked, with Nike, H&M, PUMA and Walmart all performing well.
