Allbirds launches shoe using Circ’s recycled fibres

SAN FRANCISCO – US luxury brand Allbirds has launched a new footwear line using recycled fibres from textile-to-textile innovator Circ. The two companies claim this is the first step towards bringing circular materials into mainstream footwear.

The new “Remix” trainer incorporates midsoles made from reclaimed foam scraps and uppers made with Circ’s recycled filament lyocell, produced from polycotton textile waste.
