Intertextile Shanghai to feature Pet Boutique zone

SHANGHAI – Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Spring Edition 2026 is launching a dedicated ‘Pet Boutique’ zone at the fair, which runs 11-13 March. The organisers cite the RMB 3.5 billion (over US$500m) pet apparel market, with annual growth of more than 20 per cent, and say the new area will showcase functional and sustainable materials designed for pet clothing and accessories.

The show runs at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, with more than 3,000 exhibitors expected across around 190,000 square metres.

At Intertextile, the Pet Boutique will sit alongside a larger, restructured Functional Lab zone, reflecting a strengthening demand for technical performance in everyday apparel uses, including outdoor and athleisure categories

Exhibitors set to feature pet-ready materials include fibre producer Lenzing, as well as a mix of textile and accessory suppliers such as Idole, SilkİPEK Tekstil and others.

Sustainability will again be a core theme through the fair’s Econogy Hub. The zone will showcase eco materials designed to deliver technical performance, alongside certification and traceability providers. Names at the 2026 edition include certification group Ecocert, material innovator PEELSPHERE, and traceability platform TextileGenesis.

The fair is co-organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry under China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and the China Textile Information Centre, and will run alongside events including Yarn Expo Spring and CHIC at the same venue.
