WASHINGTON – The Worker Rights Consortium has updated its Covid-19 Tracker which highlights which brands are standing by suppliers and which are refusing pay for cancelled orders. Notable names on the wrong side of the list include Primark, Walmart, C&A, Bestseller and ASOS.
The refusal of these brands to back suppliers threatens to blow the global sustainability movement wide open given that the latter two are major funders of Global Fashion Agenda while ALL are members of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition.
