AMSTERDAM – Global unions and international fashion brands have provisionally agreed to a three-month extension of the commitments of the 2018 Transition Accord to allow negotiations to continue. The 2018 Bangladesh Transition Accord expired on 31 May, after which time it was set to be superseded by a new body, backed by the Bangladesh government, namely the Readymade Sustainability Council (RSC).
