NORTH CAROLINA – Target has expanded its partnership with Syre to support the use of 70,000 metric tons of polyester made from end-of-life textiles.
The US retailer will work with the Swedish recycler to integrate textile-to-textile recycled polyester into high-volume categories including apparel and home products. The companies said “meaningful product integration” is expected by 2030.
