Study measures CO2 of Chinese polyamide production

LONDON – A new study focused on the carbon footprint (CF) of polyamide textile production in China, revealing important insights and potential low-carbon solutions for the textile sector.

Polyamide textiles, commonly used in clothing and various fabrics, have a significant carbon footprint. The study evaluated the carbon emissions associated with producing 1 kg of polyamide textile, using a “cradle to gate” approach.
