NEW YORK – Textile sorting technology developer Sortile has unveiled a next-generation material intelligence platform designed to give recyclers more detailed information about textile construction. The new tech could potentially improve feedstock quality and recycling yields.
The US company has completed the first prototype of the system and is expanding pilot deployments in North America and Europe ahead of a wider commercial rollout planned for the fourth quarter of 2026.
