CASABLANCA – Six people were killed after the collapse of sections of a building housing a textile factory in Casablanca. The accident occurred on 8 June in the early hours of the morning, in the Tit Mellil industrial zone.
The building was undergoing ongoing construction work aimed at adding four floors when the accident happened. Three of the victims worked for the building contractor and three were from the textile factory.
