SAN FRANCISCO – The Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) has outlined details of what the review into its Higg suite of tools will entail, including timescales. The SAC said consultants KPMG will coordinate the review, which will include the recruitment of three panels of independent experts. This will include a panel for each of the three Higg tools – the FEM, the BRM, and MSI and Product Module.
The review follows criticism of the Higg tools and accusations that the Higg MSI has facilitated greenwashing by SAC members, including H&M and Zalando.
