Regatta launches recyclable workwear range

MANCHESTER – Regatta Professional is launching a new workwear range designed to be recyclable through a thermo-mechanical recycling process.

The Regatta Group-owned brand has partnered with The Circular Textiles Foundation and Project Re:claim on the new Recycle.me collection. The five-piece men’s and women’s uniform range spans a thermal jacket, bodywarmer, softshell, fleece and polo shirt.

Alongside, CTF certification and the takeback scheme in partnership with SATCoL, Regatta Professional’s Recycle.me range uses 100 per cent polyester mono-fibre fabric and trims to ensure it can be recycled through Project Re:claim. This is a joint venture between SATCoL and leading sustainable corporate wear specialists Project Plan B.

Project Re:claim is the UK’s first polyester recycler designed for fibre to fibre.
