OECD puts Shein on notice over rights and environmental failings

PARIS – The French National Contact Point (NCP) for the OECD Guidelines has issued a final statement finding that ultra-fast-fashion giant Shein “does not comply with several recommendations” of the OECD Guidelines on Responsible Business Conduct. It has recommended the group review its policy and business model to align with international standards. The NCP will conduct follow-up on its recommendations.
