NORTH CAROLINA – Renaissance Fiber has announced the production of what it claims are the first T-Shirts made from hemp grown and processed entirely in the United States. The development addresses a long-standing challenge for the US textile industry, namely the lack of a domestic supply chain for hemp fibre suitable for apparel.
