ROME – Italy has introduced a new certification scheme to safeguard the Made in Italy fashion label following recent supply chain scandals. The new initiative also aims to support the growth, sustainability and transparency of the country’s fashion and textile sector. The plan was presented during a meeting of the National Fashion Table, chaired by Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy, Senator Adolfo Urso, at Palazzo Piacentini.
