LONDON – Fashion model Naomi Campbell has claimed that the negative response to her collaboration with fast fashion brand PrettyLittleThing (PLT) is because she is black. Campbell recently teamed up with up-and-coming fashion designers Victor Anate from Nigeria and Edvin Thompson from Jamaica for a collection with PLT. However, she came in for criticism due to the poor social and environmental track record of the UK-based fast fashion brand.
