MUMBAI – Gartex Texprocess India 2025 will host more than 125 participating companies, representing more than 300 brands, in what organisers claim is the most globally connected edition of the trade fair yet.
Jointly organised by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd and MEX Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, the three-day expo will open at the Jio World Convention Centre from 22 to 24 May. This edition will highlight cutting-edge garment machinery while placing an emphasis on automation, sustainability and smart sourcing. Such themes are fast becoming non-negotiable in global textile manufacturing.
“This is not just a trade fair – it’s a catalyst for transformation,” said ms Himani Gulati, director at MEX Exhibitions Pvt Ltd. “India’s textile and garment industry is becoming more global, more digital and more conscious. Gartex Texprocess India mirrors the growing strength of ‘Made in India’ on the world stage.”
This year, the show welcomes increased global participation, with companies from China, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore and a dedicated Taiwan pavilion joining the exhibition. Technology giants such as EPSON, Kornit and MACPI International are among the key international names participating either directly or via regional partners.
On the domestic front, the event will feature established Indian players such as Balaji Sewing Machines, DCC, EH Turel, Mexum, Pantone and Sky Enterprises, among others, showcasing a broad spectrum of solutions for the textile value chain.
The Denim Show, held in collaboration with the Denim Manufacturers Association, will bring together major denim mills and exporters under one roof. With Indian denim exports on the rise and environmental pressure increasing, the segment will spotlight eco-friendly production techniques and new design innovation.
“India’s textile industry is no longer just competing – it’s creating,” said mr Raj Manek, executive director and board member at Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd. “From cleaner denim lines to intelligent automation on the shop floor, a quiet revolution is underway. Gartex Texprocess India – Mumbai showcases the very innovations that are reshaping the future of manufacturing.”
The event will also host focused areas including the Fabrics and Trims Show and Screen Print India – Textile. With 25 new entrants and a growing presence of boutique and specialist players, these zones are expected to draw designers, apparel brands, merchandisers and sourcing heads seeking next-generation fabrics and finishes.
