SEON – Swiss outdoor brand Mammut has pledged to switch to 100 per cent renewable energy at all its suppliers by 2030. The retailer has also committed to shipping goods on zero-emissions cargo ships within the decade. Its new climate strategy sets commitments to recycle fossil fuel-based fabrics like polyester and polyamide in a closed loop, in a move the brand claims will bring it closer towards a circular, and less wasteful, business model.
Mammut will annually publish its GHG emissions of company operations and supply chain at all tiers.
