ROME – Italy’s antitrust agency has opened an investigation into Infinite Styles Services CO. Limited, the Dublin-based company that manages Shein’s website and app, over allegations of greenwashing.
The probe focuses on whether the fast-fashion retailer’s website presents an inaccurate image of sustainability through vague or confusing environmental claims, according to a statement from the agency.
