MASSACHUSETTS – The world’s largest clothing retailer, Inditex, has signed an agreement with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to promote research into global sustainability challenges. Inditex will contribute over US$4m to multi-year research projects, including ongoing backing for a sustainability seed fund for Spanish universities to collaborate with MIT to research textile recycling methods and new sustainability technologies.
