LONDON – Leading fashion brands which announced they had banned the use of mohair in their collections following a Peta exposé on goat farms in 2018 appear to have returned to the wool fibre. H&M, Next and Asos were among dozens of brands which said they would stop selling mohair apparel after a Peta investigation claimed to have found evidence of animal cruelty at 12 goat farms in South Africa.
