H&M to stop using down after PETA pressure

STOCKHOLM – H&M, the world’s second-largest clothing retailer, has confirmed to PETA that it will no longer source new down for any of its brands. The decision comes after a campaign that involved appeals from PETA, support from actor Joaquin Phoenix, demonstrations at H&M stores, shareholder resolutions, and over 150,000 letters from PETA supporters.
