DHAKA – Swedish fashion giant H&M laid off 46 staff at its Bangladesh office as it continues to rationalise its operations in the country. A company spokesperson said the goal is to enhance efficiency and “promote increased collaboration by bringing production teams closer together.” The laid-off employees will continue their jobs at H&M till July 2023 according to local sources.
