STOCKHOLM – Swedish fast fashion giant H&M has responded to threats by Chinese consumers to boycott its stores. The company’s online presence has been disappearing in China amid a boycott of the Swedish retailer after its comments about forced labour made last year went viral. China’s Google Maps-like Baidu Maps platform, as well as Alibaba’s map service, have also removed the locations of H&M’s 500 Chinese stores.
