STOCKHOLM – Swedish fast fashion retailer H&M has said it is to start sharing detailed information with end consumers about the factories that make its clothes. From this week, clothing items sold across all its 47 online markets will include details such as production country, supplier names, factory names and addresses and the number of workers in the factories. The initiative will also be accessible to customers in physical stores which can use the H&M app to scan the price tag on products to see details.
