H&M JV aims to scale textile recycling

STOCKHOLM – Swedish fast fashion retailer H&M has set up a 50:50 joint venture with German waste management firm Remondis. The company, called Looper Textile Co., is now operating at industrial scale and claims it can process up to 150 million garments per year across three European facilities.
