AMSTERDAM – New research by Clean Clothes Campaign claims garment workers globally are owed almost US$12bn in unpaid income and severance. Their new report, Still Un(der)paid, presents an updated estimate for the period from March 2020 through March 2021.
Clean Clothes Campaign conducted desk research in seven major Asian production countries: Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Pakistan.
