PARIS – Used clothing was dumped outside stores across France this week in a protest by Le Relais, one of the country’s leading textile recyclers. The action targeted brands including Kiabi and Decathlon and was designed to highlight what Le Relais says is a deepening crisis in France’s textile sorting sector, driven by chronic underfunding and lack of government support.
