PARIS – France’s anti-fast fashion bill has been significantly weakened following its passage through the Senate’s Sustainable Development Committee, with key provisions removed or watered down. The Stop Fast-Fashion Coalition has condemned what it describes as a “dismantling” of the bill, blaming lobbying pressures for its reduced ambition.
