PARIS – The French Government has launched a new tool which allows consumers to calculate the environmental impact of clothing. The tool allows users to input an array of criteria, including materials used and country of origin, before providing them with a ‘score’ for a particular garment. The higher the score, the greater the environmental impact – in theory.
