France chosen for Shein’s first bricks-and-mortar stores

PARIS – Shein will open six permanent bricks-and-mortar stores in France from November in a world-first for the ultra-fast-fashion group. The debut site will be inside Paris’s BHV Marais, followed by five outlets embedded within Galeries Lafayette–affiliated stores operated by retail property company SGM in Dijon, Grenoble, Reims, Limoges and Angers.

The move marks a strategic shift from Shein’s pop-up playbook and comes with a pledge to create around 200 direct and indirect jobs across the network.
