Fashion brands vow to stand by Bangladesh amid disruption

LONDON – Amidst ongoing disruptions in Bangladesh’s garment industry due to the 2024 gas crisis and quota reform protests, major fashion brands have committed to supporting their Bangladeshi suppliers and workers. Business & Human Rights Resource Centre (BHRRC) reached out to several major brands which source from Bangladesh and the response was largely positive. These included Next, Marks & Spencer, Primark, Puma and PVH.
