BRUSSELS – The European Commission has called for a ban on greenwashing as part of proposed guidelines which would also oblige businesses to provide consumers with information on product durability and reparability. The proposed revisions in EU consumer law were announced in the New Consumer Agenda and the Circular Economy Action Plan.
