BRUSSELS – Online fashion retailer Shein has been formally notified by European consumer authorities over a series of platform practices which breach EU consumer protection law. The action follows a coordinated investigation by the Consumer Protection Cooperation (CPC) Network and the European Commission, with enforcement led by national authorities in Belgium, France, Ireland and the Netherlands.
