AMSTERDAM – Nearly half of Dutch consumers say they are ordering less from Chinese e-commerce platforms including Shein, Temu and AliExpress following the introduction of new European Union import duties.
46 per cent of respondents to a survey by RTL Nieuws’ Nieuwspanel said they had reduced purchases from Chinese online platforms since the new rules came into force on July 1.
