AMSTERDAM – Participants in the Dutch Agreement on Sustainable Garments and Textile (AGT) are, “well on the way to meeting the AGT targets,” claims the organisation’s annual report. However, just 8 per cent of participants are fully compliant with the initiative’s goals, which sees members commit to tackling challenges such as child and forced labour in supply chains as well as other social and environmental issues.
