    Control Union pulls out of Indian organic cotton

    DEHLI – In a serious dent to the integrity of Indian organic cotton, two leading certifiers have announced they will no longer be certifying the crop. Control Union, comfortably the largest certifier of Indian organic cotton, and Lacon Quality Certification have both told their Indian cotton clients they will no longer be certifying what they now consider to be a ‘high risk’ crop.
