ZHANGJIAGANG – A Chinese textile recycler says an AI-powered sorting machine can process 100kg of used clothing in just two to three minutes. This compares with around four hours for one worker doing the same job manually. The company says the system can handle up to two tonnes an hour, while two people would need two days to sort the same volume with lower accuracy.
