TOKYO – Spiber has relaunched under new leadership, with the Japanese biomaterials company sharpening its focus on commercialisation. Chief executive Maya Kawana will lead business strategy and governance. Spiber said founders Kazuhide Sekiyama and Junichi Sugahara will step back from frontline management and concentrate on resolving technical bottlenecks and accelerating product development.
