SEOUL – South Korean officials have reported that women’s underwear sold on the Chinese shopping app Shein contained cancer-causing agents at levels three times higher than the legal limit. The revelation was part of a safety examination conducted over a month starting June 11. Tests were carried out on 330 products available on Chinese online retail platforms, including SHEIN, Temu, and AliExpress.
