AMSTERDAM – Brightfiber Textiles has opened a new textile recycling plant in the Netherlands in a ceremony attended by over 100 guests on 15 April. The facility designed to recycle post-consumer garments into textile fibres, helping reduce textile waste and associated environmental impacts.
The opening ceremony featured remarks from Brightfiber CEO Ellen Mensink and Dutch actress and environmental advocate Carice van Houten.
