BURNLEY – A worker for UK fast fashion brand Boohoo has claimed staff were told by management not to speak to union representatives and “put in the bin” any leaflets handed to them about joining a union. “… no matter what they say to you they don’t want a union and will do whatever they can to stop it from happening, even make staff feel like they will lose their jobs over it,” the member of, staff, who wishes to remain anonymous, told the Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers (USDAW) representatives.
