MANCHESTER – Cowboy purchasing practices employed by British fast fashion brand Boohoo will this week be exposed in a BBC documentary. A reporter for the broadcaster went undercover at Boohoo’s head office and discovered evidence of staff pressuring suppliers to drive prices down – even after deals had been agreed.
Between April and June this year the journalist worked in the dresses department at Boohoo alongside buyers.
